BOP was initially created back in 2017 when Jess had a mission to spotlight more women in the music industry. At the time it felt like there was little to no coverage of women by other women and she wanted to do what she could from her parent’s house in Los Angeles to change that. Now there is more opportunity and flexibility thanks to the internet. This is just a corner of it that hopes to continue to reflect the thoughts of those who are passionate about music and culture.
